While things aren't looking too good for the United States of America currently, the whole country and its culture isn't up in flames. There is still at least one nice American tradition to appropriate as a way of escaping how done we all are with 2016: Thanksgiving. When divorced from its history, Thanksgiving embodies everything wonderful about America's culinary side - cornbread, turkey, apple pies and so on.

Orleans is hosting its own Thanksgiving this November 24 with a Thanksgiving set menu at $50. It features the following options -

Starters:

Baked onion dip with crusty french bread
Oysters Casino

Main + Sides:

Fried turkey drums, dirty gravy
Cornbread and andouille stuffing
Loaded sweet potato skins, crispy prawns
Blistered green beans, mushroom, shallot
Buttermilk biscuits, cranberry and maple butter

To finish:

Cranberry and apple pie, vanilla ice cream, caramel
