Food Space Will Have a Semi-Permanent Home in September

Having previously roamed the city's neighbourhoods and events with a bounty of delicious of street eats, mobile food court Food Space will have a more semi-permanent home in September as it sets up in a new downtown location.

Inner city dwellers will have no trouble tracking down their favourite street food. Every Friday in September, the initiative will take place at new public space A4 Downtown with street food vendors serving up dishes from 11.30pm - til late.

On board for the first outing are: no-nonsense Asian eatery Yummy Thai, made-to-order pasta makers Got Pasta, The Temaki Truck offering South America's take on the sushi roll, contemporary Maori cooks Puha & Pakeha, Langos Hungarian Fried Bread and Wellington's House of Dumplings.

In addition to the rotating cast of vendors, each week promises live music and entertainment.

Located across the road from Queens Wharf Village at 2 - 21 Queen Street, A4 Downtown is a new public space by cause of the City Rail Link construction.
