An old 1963 Bedford fire truck has been saved from the scrapyard and turned into a mobile food station thanks to Wellington couple Will Michell and Kim Eddington.

After spotting the semi-converted truck on Trademe, Will and his partner converted the old fire engine into a mobile catering truck, with an American-style smoker barbecue included on board.  No word on how fire safe having a working barbecue while driving actually is.

The Fire Truck is up and running during the weekends in various locations. Check out their Facebook page to see where this glorious new food truck will be headed next.
