Father's Day is drawing closer. This year, instead of leaving your gift shopping to the eleventh hour, or settling for another petrol voucher, treat your dear old dad to a multi-course feast.

Found on an 80-acre estate in the heart of wine country, The Hunting Lodge is a picturesque spot to enjoy a fresh pasture-to-plate dining experience. In celebration of Father's Day, the restaurant has launched the Pig's Day Out set menu.

For $60, guests will get stuck into a four-course menu spotlighting pork from Freedom Farms. On the list there's bacon broth, pork charcuterie with pickles, focaccia and smoked hazelnut butter, pork belly with mincher apples, and a selection of sweet treats to finish. Plant-based dads are catered for too with a separate vegetarian set menu option.
