Sea Kayaking in Clew Bay
Meander around the tiny islands that rise gently from this bay in Mayo.
Overview
Clew Bay is a wonderland for seafaring travellers. Formed about 20,000 years ago by glacial movements called drumlins, this geological phenomenon sees around 365 tiny islands poke above the water's surface.
Hopping inside a sea kayak is a stellar idea if you want to get up close, with several nearby companies providing all the equipment needed to explore the sea.
