You can't visit Ireland without a trip to a traditional Irish whiskey distillery. Dating back to 1829, the Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery is an ideal stop to discover all things Irish whiskey, thanks to its immersive, state-of-the-art tour.

You'll see everything from vast stills to bubbling mash bills and learn fun facts like the 'D.E.W.' in its name is for Daniel Edmund Williams, one of Ireland's most impactful distillers.

Visitors get handed an Irish coffee on arrival before they head into the stillhouse to see where the magic happens. Then, they can sample three whiskey varieties straight from a cask from the thousands resting in Ireland's only custom-built whiskey maturation warehouse.
