Overview

Landscapes are rarely more serene than Glendalough. Punctuated by upper and lower lakes, visitors to the valley can also wander through the ruins of a sixth-century monastic settlement.

Its pristine environment stretches along its varied hiking trails. The Spinc and Glenealo Valley Walk is one of the most impressive. It rises up the valley to Poulanass Waterfall before a boardwalk leads to a stellar lookout point.
