The Lough Derg Way, which travels from Arthur's Quay in Limerick city to Dromineer village on the shores of the lake, is a popular long-distance walking route bristling with leafy scenery.

Sticking close to the River Shannon for much of the duration, this three-day adventure passes through numerous age-old hamlets featuring vibrant lakeside scenery.

Rich in heritage and peaceful nature, this 68.9-kilometre journey offers stellar views of the Hidden Heartlands.
