Overview

While otherworldly landscapes are part and parcel of the Wild Atlantic Way experience, The Burren stands out among even the most eye-catching.

Vast and desolate, this glaciated karst terrain offers a myriad of fascinating natural and historical monuments. Doolin's Cave and Poulnabrone Dolmen showcase the region's unique natural formations above and below ground. A little further south will bring you to the iconic Cliffs of Moher, which makes up a UNESCO Geopark with The Burren.
