This Just In: Kat the Label Is Holding a Warehouse Sale in South Yarra — with Lingerie from $5
The Melbourne label is opening its doors for a four-day warehouse sale in South Yarra, with archive pieces, samples and past collections up for grabs.
If your lingerie drawer is overdue for a refresh, Kat the Label is about to make that considerably cheaper. The Melbourne label — known for the vintage-inspired lace that's turned up on Kylie Jenner and, more recently, in a Marilyn Monroe capsule collection — is holding a four-day warehouse sale, with archive pieces, samples and past collections going for a fraction of their usual price.
Prices start at $5 for lingerie, $20 for sleepwear, and $15 for swimwear — proper warehouse-sale territory for a label that usually sits at boutique prices. Kat the Label typically runs its clearance events online, a 72-hour flash sale once a year, so an in-person rummage through the racks is a rarer prospect than the discounts alone.

It's also a different kind of shopping trip to the one on offer at Kat the Label's Armadale flagship, where the drawcards are bridal fittings, champagne and custom embroidery rather than a hunt for a bargain. Expect fewer velvet drapes and iced lattes at the warehouse sale, and more digging through boxes for that one discontinued set in your size — but it's the same lace, minus the price tag.
Kat the Label was founded by Kate Nixon in 2015, growing from handsewn lace bralettes shared on Instagram into one of Melbourne's better-known intimates labels, complete with a bridal following and a growing list of celebrity fans. If you've been meaning to try a set, or stock up on staples before the change of season, this is the weekend to do it without the guilt.
The Kat the Label warehouse sale runs from Wednesday 22 July to Saturday 25 July at 565 Chapel Street, South Yarra. Sunday Society members get early access on the Wednesday, from 4pm to 7pm, before it opens to everyone else.
