The boundless creativity of Greedy Hen

If the early bird gets the worm, it’s because the greedy hen has already gobbled up all the tastier morsels. A duo comprised of artists Katherine Brickman and Kate Mitchell, Greedy Hen have established a reputation for being both jaw-droppingly prodigious in their work habits, and endlessly creative with scissors, glue and paper.

Their beautifully curated odds’n’sodds approach to pattern, texture and colour have graced record covers (lions!), teatowels (beards!) and plates (hirsute fellows!), and 2009 has seen their work evolve seamlessly into hand-crafted animation and direction. Greedy Hen have worked with local stars such as Josh Pyke, Washington, The Middle East and the Powerhouse Museum, proving they have not just dab hands but fingers in many, undoubtedly delicious, pies.
