Overview

Tickets to the footy fallen through? Consider this Richmond favourite as a very worthy alternative. Conveniently located on the corner of Swan and Church streets, this local pub has a rich history dating back to 1890. The venue has been gently updated several times since then, with heritage features still apparent in the front bar and adjacent dining room. The beer garden, however, is thoroughly modern, with enough screens to ensure that everyone gets an uninterrupted view of the game.

International sport is also given plenty of love, with the Superbowl party known for always being particularly spirited. Stick around post game for the weekend DJ, or sneak upstairs to the Chillout Room for a restorative pint. Make sure to check out the massive aerial shot of Melbourne that fills an entire wall: it's enough to make any local's heart swell with pride.
