Get festive with a bottomless booking at these standout spots all over town.

The hustle and bustle of the silly season is undoubtedly joyous but also sort of stressful. The biblical epic that is trying to make plans for a group of four or more is the hallmark of the month of December, and there's only so much we can help with — but damned if we're not going to try.

The least we can do is provide some inspo, but we must leave the booking up to you. Our recommendation? Hit up one of these standout venues for a bottomless booking that the group won't resist.

    Chin Chin restaurant in Melbourne.

The tried and tested magic formula of Chin Chin sees regular crowds out the door seeking a taste of the now famous  Southeast Asian menu. It’s hardly a traditional choice for a Christmas catchup, but that’s half the fun. To cater for the festive season, you can place a booking for groups of two (from $88pp) or more for its set menu feasts. Plus, groups of six or more can add free-flowing drinks onto that booking for another $50pp — available for lunch and dinner.

If you fancy a hearty Mediterranean feed, turn your attention to the sometimes-overlooked gem of the Lucas family, Baby Pizza. Italian food and bottomless bookings go hand in hand, so this makes perfect sense in more ways than one. For the festive season Baby Pizza offers Boozy Banchetto bottomless bookings for lunch and dinner. The former is for 90 minutes at $66pp while the latter is for two hours at $88pp.

Either time of day offers the same delicious menu items, including classic share plates of arancini, stracciatella and fries. And, of course, the famous pizzas — like prosciutto with fior di latte, reggiano, rocket and tomatoes. And no Italian feast is complete without free-flowing prosecco, sav blanc, rosé, cabernet sangiovese and beer.

Kisume - one of the best Japanese restaurants in Melbourne.

If flame-grilled feeds, decadent experiences and intimate European dining styles don’t suit your fancy, consider the refined, elegant experience of Kisumé, an experience we dub “refined grandeur”. It’s Japanese cuisine, but a few steps up from your local sushi shop. Dining at Kisumé is on a whole new level. Fresh produce, impeccable presentation and passionate staff round out the experience.

For the festive season, Kisumé offers a two-course lunch with two hours of drinks for $120pp. For dinner, groups of six or more can enjoy a free-flowing drinks package accompanying any of the Chef’s Menus from an additional $55pp.
