The cookie domination continues. Brooki Bakehouse, famous for its chunky cookies, notorious for its long lines, and known for a string of recent pop-ups across Australia, has announced its first flagship store in Victoria. This August, Chapel Street, South Yarra, will become home to the first permanent, flagship store in Melbourne, so start queuing now.
"Melbourne has never let us forget it wanted us — the comments, the DMs, people literally flying to Brisbane. This is the food city everyone tries to impress, so opening on Chapel Street means everything. We're not visiting. We're moving in," says Brooke Bellamy, founder of Brooki Bakehouse.
Since its humble Brisbane beginnings in 2022, the bakehouse has become a viral, national obsession, with a global community of millions of followers on social media, dedicated to supporting Bellamy's brand.
The flagship opens at 574 Chapel Street, South Yarra, on Friday, August 7. Brooke herself will be baking onsite on opening day from 10am. Not only will there be free merch handed out to the first 100 customers in line, but the Melbourne launch will see an exclusive flavour available only at this location: tiramisu cookie. So scrap your plans, grab your mates, and prepare to line up for a taste of the famed chunky cookies.
