Being an empathetic traveller I know only too well the perils of navigating your way around a city whose WiFi network is a) non existent or b) not compatible with your 'ever-reliable' iPhone which in turn renders Google Maps a big fat NO-GO. So you confide in the next best thing. A map! Industrial designer Emanuele Pizzolorusso took on the task of re-designing the flimsy paper map. He made it out of a durable material known as Dupont™ Tyvek® which not only made it impervious to ungodly weather conditions, namely rain, but also meant it could be crumpled up and shoved in your pocket. No rips. No tears. No tears! Crumpled City maps fit into a small bag and will take you around the globe from Rome, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo and New York. So bid adieu to that over-scaled map and the awkward 'tourist' lost beneath it!
