Details have been announced regarding a David Bowie tribute album, We Were So Turned On, which is due for release in September. The line-up looks pretty interesting, with Duran Duran, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Swahili Blonde (featuring John Frusciante) and the French first lady, Carla Bruni, all contributing. The two-disc album will feature all your favourite Bowie tracks, including 'Space Oddity', 'Heroes' and 'Sound and Vision'. The first single from the album, 'John, I'm Only Dancing' by the Vivian Girls, is already available for download on iTunes, and you can listen to it for free here. 100 percent of net sales from the album will go to the charity War Child, which protects children living in areas disrupted by violent conflict.
