Overview
The repetitive motion of the humble GIF doesn't really feel like it has evolved along with the rest of Web 2.0 very much, does it? If you don't ignore them completely then you just sit and stare, with chin in palm, at how shit they are. Luckily the students at the Elisava School of Design don't give up that easily and have developed 56 animated GIFs directed by Johnny Kelly and Mathew Cooper. Each student of the Barcelona-based design college has used the utmost creativity to refresh the genre and give themselves a nice bit of promotional material. They're all live on the site simultaneously and are impossible to ignore. Now, if only they did something about pop-ups.
