Aēsop Queer Library
Every author is queer and every book is free.
Overview
Last year, Aēsop Prahran was filled with the smell of freshly pressed pages as queer lit took over the shelves. The Queer Library is returning for its fifth edition from Wednesday, July 15–Sunday, July 19 – this time on Flinders Lane.
Touching down in 11 major cities like Berlin, Hong Kong and Sydney, Aēsop Queer Library has given away over 115,000 books on a blissfully simple premise: walk in, choose a book by a queer author, and walk out with it.

This year's Body of Work edition explores the body as a bridge between our inner lives and the world beyond, and the apothecary draws eyes to voices that have been sidelined for too long. Expect rows and rows of literature written by LGBTQIA+ authors about the queer experience.
Aēsop will also make a donation to Minus18, a St Kilda-based organisation supporting LGBTQIA+ youths across Australia.

Aēsop Queer Library will run while stocks last at the Flinders Lane store from Wednesday, July 15–Sunday, July 19. Head to the Aēsop website for more information.
