The CBD's Little Collins Street just became your new date night go-to. Southeast Asian-Australian fusion resto Burma Lane is slinging two-for-one banquets every Monday — so you and your partner/lover/best friend/mother can eat a lot and split the cost in half.

The deal is up for grabs during at both lunch and dinner, when you can get two servings of a "feed me" menu for the price of one. So, all together, that's 12 dishes for $39 or 16 dishes for $50 at lunchtime, and 16 dishes for $69 or 20 dishes for $89 at dinnertime. Expect the meal to be broken up into starters, mains and (for the three priciest options) dessert, too.

Diners can look forward to the likes of slow-cooked turmeric lamb shoulder, chilli-smoked chicken wings and five spice pork belly, plus Burmese tofu with smashed tomatoes and sour cherry duck with shiitake doughnuts. For dessert, count on the not-so-Asian cremosa with chocolate crumb and peanut butter parfait.
