Overview

The ninth annual CherryRock festival is kicking off this weekend with both local and international acts throwing down and leaving it all on the stage. As in the past, there will be two stages set up for the day and no clashes with the set times; as 13 acts are set to rock out. Headlining the weekend will be Portland stoner-rock icons Red Fang. Also performing is New Zealand’s very own Beastwars, Brisbane band HITS, as well as Child, My Left Boot, Fuck the Fitzroy Doom Scene, Dr. Colossus, Los Hombres Del Diablo and more.

Many punters feared that they had seen the end of CherryRock when it did not go on as planned last November, however the grumpy neighbours are just going to have to suck it up for a night. Pastuso are also taking the night off to have their annual staff party early this year, so it’s all systems go for AC/DC Lane.
