Overview

When you think of Connie's, Heartbreaker's in-bar pizza joint, you probably think of triangles. Namely, the giant, triangular NYC-style pizza slices it's served from its takeaway window for the past four years. But now, the kitchen's switching things up, unveiling a brand-new menu of deep-dish square pizzas dubbed Grandma Pies.

Taking name and inspiration from a style of pizza made famous by Italian-American grandmas on the outskirts of New York, the new 12-inch offerings are now available for delivery every Thursday–Saturday night. In the lineup, you'll find cheesy toppings like artichoke with alfredo sauce, mozzarella and spinach; a mushroom and thyme number; and the Big Bad Wolf with its mix of pork and fennel sausage, pepperoni, pancetta and red onion. There's even a jalapeno-studded smoked ham and pineapple pizza, aptly named Don't Tell Nonna. To order from the new menu, as well as a selection of booze, head to the website or jump onto UberEats.

If you prefer circles and triangles when it comes to your pizza, fear not. The OG Connie's menu is set to return post-lockdown for all of your late-night slice needs.
