Overview

UPDATE: MARCH 24, 2020 — Due to new government restrictions regarding public gatherings, the Europa Night Market has been cancelled.

The lull between the end of the Queen Vic Market's Summer Night Market in March and the start of the winter one in June is an annoying one — especially when you've just gotten used to spending Wednesday nights outdoors. To fill that gap, the QVM is bringing back its European night market for a second autumn season. Get ready for Wednesday night paella, frites, barbecue, currywurst, all with a distinctly European flair, to help you celebrate the end of hump day or forget the disappearing summer.

Europa is offering up a lot more than just food at its 40 food and retail stalls. You can show off your artistic flair at a 'sip and paint' class, head to a French language lesson, attend a fencing masterclass and wander through a pop-up Hellenic Museum.

Each week will be dedicated to a different theme, with Italy kicking things off on April 8, France taking over on April 22 and Britain wrapping things up — with British rock tunes, a pop-up garden bar and a royals-themed photo wall — on May 13. So, expect food, drinks and entertainment to be suitably on theme each week.

You can check out the full lineup over here.

Europa Night Market runs from 5–10pm.
