Gemini Season at Gemini Wine Bar
The Coburg bar and pantry is celebrating those born during this astrological season with an art exhibition, happy-hour deals, food and drink pairings and a huge party.
Overview
Geminis are known for being social butterflies. The twins are always up for a good time, keeping busy with work, mates and hobbies — at least, that's what we're told.
And to celebrate Gemini season (which we are now in), Gemini Wine Bar in Coburg is running a heap of events and special deals to keep people with this star sign (and their mates) busy.
It kicks off with an exhibition by ceramic artist Kate Brouwer and floral artist Graham Ho, showing on Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25. Grab a bev from the bar and wander about the duo's exhibition, which is part of this year's Melbourne Design Week.
Up until Thursday, June 20, Gemini Wine Bar will also be serving special cocktail and food pairings — dubbed 'Astral Twins' — for $30. From 4–6pm every Wednesday–Saturday, you can also nab $3 oysters, $16 negronis and martinis, and $10 glasses of bubbles.
Then come Thursday, June 6, the team will host a one-off Gemini Party with roaming canapes, a cheese grazing table, and free-flowing beer, wine and sodas. You can get all this for $99 per person, plus the bar will be snaking up discounted cocktails ($15) throughout the night.
Whether gemini is your sun, moon or rising sign — or if you don't care about star signs and just like great food and bev deals — consider stopping by Gemini Wine Bar this month.
