Overview

After doing a roaring trade during last year’s festivities, Madame Brussels is once again opening up their laneway to host a European Night Market. And in even better news, this is not a once off event, but instead will take place every Friday from July 24 to August 14.

For those of you lucky enough to have been in Europe during winter, these markets are designed to be similar to what you would find in Austria, Germany and Switzerland around Christmas time. Some of the tasty delights you can begin to look forward to include German pretzels from Bretzel Biz, Polish dumplings from Eastern Bloc, French creme brulee from The Brûlée Cart and crepes from Les Crepes de Marion, as well as Praline almonds and macadamias from Chooh La La.

Of course, all of these foodie offerings go splendidly with a piping hot cup of mulled wine and little live entertainment. Arrive hungry and thirsty to make like you’re having a white Christmas.
