Monthly Wine Club at Le Méridien Melbourne
June's host is family-run winery Scorpo, which has been producing small-batch drops on the Mornington Peninsula since 2002.
Overview
Keen to try more wines but don't have time to hit the vineyards? Le Méridien Melbourne hears you — it's launched a monthly wine club in its bar, Intermission.
Once a month, on a Saturday evening, head along to meet a winemaker and sample several drops you've probably never tried before. Your $45 ticket covers four glasses of wine, plus matching small plates, like cheese and charcuterie boards, and fried calamari with smoked whipped ricotta.
In June, you'll be in the company of Scorpo Vineyard & Wines — a family-run winery on the Mornington Peninsula that's been producing small-batch wines since 2002. At Intermission, your tasting menu includes the 2024 Aubaine Chardonnay, the 2024 pinot gris, and two pinot noirs: the 2023 Norien and the 2021 Eocene.
In between sips, Scorpo will share the stories behind the wines with you, and you'll have plenty of time to ask questions. Tickets are available online.
