Patricia x Grada x Tarts Anon: Stella by Day, Grada by Night
Patricia Coffee Brewers, Grada and Tarts Anon are teaming up to celebrate Melbourne's coffee culture and bar scene.
Overview
If there's something Melbournians have in common, it's coffee (and cocktails). Merging the worlds of caffeine and booze, Patricia Coffee Brewers, Grada and Tarts Anon are teaming up for a one-night-only event featuring cocktails conceptualised by Grada's co-creator Darren Leaney (ex-Capitano/Aru, current Caretaker's Cottage).
Patricia Coffee Brewers, known for its quaint hole-in-the-wall aesthetic, will transform into a bar for the night. A variety of cocktails – think Espresso Martini, Pina-Colada, Manhattan and Old Fashioned – will feature Grada's locally-produced single-farm coffee along with modern modifications. Don't worry: desserts make an appearance as well, thanks to Tarts Anon, who have crafted a Grada Hazelnut tart made of shortcrust pastry, hazelnut caramel, Grada crème diplomat, caramelised choux pastry, and hazelnut and Grada financier cake.
Spotlighting more coffee offerings, Stella, Grada's sister company, will also make a small menu of espresso and filter coffees available at the event. This day-to-night transformation event, dubbed 'Stella By Day, Grada By Night,' promises an immersive coffee experience.
Stella By Day, Grada By Night will take place at Patricia Coffee Brewers on Thursday, April 11 from 5–9pm. Tickets are priced at $25, which will get you a cocktail of your choice and a slice of tart.
