Overview
UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 13, 2020 — The United Energy Around the Bay cycle has been cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in Melbourne.
Did you rediscover your love of cycling during the lockdowns? If yes, and you're ready to venture beyond the streets of your local area, consider getting into top gear at the United Energy Around the Bay cycle taking place on Sunday, October 3.
This ride is often the first major bike event Melburnians who pedal a passion for push bikes sign up to. Which makes sense, considering there are six ride options to choose from to suit your cycling skills. The rides start at Albert Park Lake and range from the family-friendly 20 kilometre dash to the full 300-kilometre loop around Port Phillip Bay.
There'll be on-route assistance in the form of medical and mechanical support, nutrition and hydration stations and rest stops to keep you safe and sound. And, if you sign up before Sunday, July 25, you'll score a free event jersey which you can sport during the ride to feel like a pro.
The United Energy Around the Bay ride will take place on Sunday, October 3. For more information and to sign up to the ride, head to the website.
