Overview

Over the past few years, the work of impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh has been reimagined in multiple ways; from a massive multi sensory exhibition to a lego re-creation of his famous Sunflowers. And now, it's the source of inspiration for a high tea at Crown Melbourne.

TWR, the Crown's glamorous cocktail bar, has joined forces with THE LUME art gallery, to transform the Dutch painters' works into a dreamy feast. Together, they've created a gorgeous array of savoury bites, pastries and sweet treats that reflect his style, palette and emotions.

Think cakes iced with impressions of Starry Night, tarts in the shape of sunflowers and pastries topped with brilliant colours. What's more, every high tea begins with a Van Gogh-inspired cocktail taster.

You have until June 1 to book, and experience Van Gogh's genius from a fresh perspective. Three options are available; $89 per person with tea and Vittoria Coffee, $109 with a flute of Chandon Rosé, and $149 per person with two hours of flowing Chandon Rosé. Kids can also get in on the fun, with a child-friendly option at $55, served with hot chocolate. Plus, every ticket also scores you a link to the Finding Vincent VR experience.
