Golden Plains has found its 2027 headliner. Geese, the New York four-piece fronted by Cameron Winter, will top the bill when the festival returns to the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre from Saturday, March 6–Monday, March 8, 2027. Haven't been to GP before? The next instalment is shaping up to be one for the books. While Geese will take centre stage in the 'Sup, must-see acts run from top to bottom. Electronic heavyweights Underworld, Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garrett and The Alter Egos, Tuareg band Tinariwen and the polka-dotted Angine de Poitrinen join the bill, as do English rockers Westside Cowboy, breakthrough First Nations singer-songwriter Miss Kaninna and Naarm punk-tech trio Tongue Dissolver. While the lineup is star-studded every year with big names, underground acts, and up-and-coming stars, the single-stage setup, free camping, BYO drinks, and long-standing "No Dickhead Policy" keep people coming back. Along with the talent reveal, the first ballot also dropped. Didn't score tickets? A second ballot is coming up fast on Wednesday, October 21, while the online sale happens at 11am on Wednesday, October 28. A sell-out is virtually guaranteed, so don't dally if you're keen to call the amphitheatre home for the weekend. [caption id="attachment_1155452" align="alignnone" width="1920"] Angine de Poitrine.
