Overview
Here is a stellar special to make your May feel a little fancy this year. The Lounge at Society has launched a month-long special, slinging a series of amped-up burgers and mini martinis, all for a reasonable price.
Chris Lucas' Society is one of Melbourne's most glam and elevated restaurants, the kind of place where you're better off not looking at the prices on the menu. However, for a limited time only, The Society Lounge, a walk-in bar with a killer drinks list, is offering up a surprisingly affordable deal.
Throughout May, The Lounge will present a concise menu of burgers created by chefs across the Lucas Collective. The line-up of specials, which shifts week to week, includes a Fillet 'o' Snapper by Damian Snell, a Rossini Royale by Adam Sanderson (Maison Bâtard), a Karaage Chicken Burger by Daniel Wilson, a Swordfish Burger by Vincenzo Ursini (Grill Americano) and a Rendang Spiced Burger by Benjamin Cooper (Chin Chin).
The burgers are on offer for $28.50 a pop, designed to be paired with a $10 mini martini. If you want a little more, go for The Society Serve, which includes two burgers, two full-size martinis and a 30g caviar tin.
