Melbourne's new bars have stepped things up this year, and have been some of our favourite venues of 2015. It was the year of the boutique bar, featuring snacks that would not be out of place at any sit-down restaurant and, of course, artisan booze. Whisky definitely became a thing this year, and we've included two whisky bars among our picks. At Concrete Playground we encourage exploration and innovation in our city — and our watering holes — every day, and these are our favourite bars to open in 2015.
