Best of Melbourne 2015: Our Favourite New Cafes
From lobster doughnut rolls to fairy floss hot chocolates, we've brunched pretty well this year.
Melbourne's cafes have been varied this year. Looks like someone thought we should start doing something different. We've seen a cafe open in a shipping container, some decide to keep their doors open past the standard 4pm, and more than a few break-the-Internet-type dishes — yes, we mean Mammoth's lobster doughnut roll and that fairy floss hot chocolate from Hash. At Concrete Playground we encourage exploration and innovation in our city — and our breakfast — every day, and these are our favourite cafes to open in 2015. Nice work, guys — we love what you do.
