Are you looking to up the cuteness levels in your day-to-day? Feel like a four-legged friend wouldn't go astray? Live in Melbourne or Geelong? You could be exactly who the Australian Border Force is looking for.
They're on the hunt for legends in Victoria to foster the latest litter of soon-to-be detector dogs. Yep, detector dogs — the most adorable job title any pup has been known to have. Trained to sniff out everything from drugs, firearms and explosives to cash and tobacco, these pups will one day be hard at work protecting our borders and keeping our communities safe.
Before starting their official training — which takes about seven months — the puppies need to be walked, socialised and loved. And that's where you come in. With the pooches raised as outside-dogs, you aren't required to be at home throughout the day. You just need a safe and secure yard, enough time for daily walks and a car.
