Overview

This chain of burger joints was born from owner Antony Crowther's goal to combine New York street food with local Aussie produce. He must have done something right, because now you can get a New York Minute burger from eight stores across Melbourne.

The menu spans burgs in 15 varieties, including a classic cheeseburger (dubbed the Manhattan Island, $12.90), a philly cheese steak ($13.90), the Coney Island chicken schnitzel burger ($13.50) and the Rockefeller wagyu beef burger with smoked bacon ($17.90).

When all you need is a simple yet tasty plant-based burger, New York Minute has three vego options. The Hudson Valley vegan burger offers up a fresh homemade vegan patty, with all the burger classics: beetroot, cos lettuce, tomato, red onion and an authentic chilli jam to round it all off ($13.50). Plus, there's an option to have it gluten free if you're so inclined.

Enjoy with a side of fries and a milkshake.

No matter where you are in the city, you'll find New York Minute close by, with locations in Brunswick, Carlton, Deer Park, Hawthorn, Moonee Ponds, South Melbourne, Thornbury and Footscray.
