Overview

Some labels treat a shopfront as a finish line; Bye Bambi treats it as a chapter. The Melbourne label — all corsetry, bows, spray-paint prints and early-2000s fairytale silhouettes — is closing its Windsor store, and marking the occasion with one last warehouse sale where nothing costs more than $50.

Founded in 2018 by Andi Short as a solo bedroom operation, Bye Bambi grew into a High Street flagship and a cult following for its glossy, Y2K-leaning take on femininity, made ethically across workrooms in Melbourne and Bali. Now the brand is stepping into what it's calling Bambi 2.0: no fixed address, and more room for pop-ups, collaborations and storytelling.

Billed as BYE, BAMBI (STORE), the sale is a clear-out of the brand's Windsor era — archive pieces, samples, past collections and one-off finds pulled from years of designing in-house. It's the deep end of the catalogue, the kind of stock that rarely resurfaces online once it's gone, and with everything priced at $50 or under, an easy entry point if you've only ever admired the label from afar.

BYE, BAMBI (STORE) runs Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 June at 214 High Street, Windsor. Expect the racks to thin fast across the four days, so the earlier you get in, the better the pickings.

For opening hours, keep an eye on Bye Bambi's website.
