While new spots to sauna and plunge continue to open all over town, a more exclusive alternative for those who go the extra mile is also having a moment. That's private longevity and wellness clubs, with STILLE set to launch in Melbourne in late 2026. Founded by a team with serious health and fitness credentials, this premium performance-focused space will offer a host of evidence-based programs, advanced recovery therapies and personalised lifestyle interventions.

And it will no doubt look good doing so from its Spring Street address. Spanning 1000 square metres, architecture and interiors, designed by SORA and advised by Dwell Concepts, reflect STILLE's philosophy for deep, intentional restoration, not simply high-energy social wellness. Taking inspiration from Treasury Gardens — right across the street — the design elevates minimalism with stone, aged bronze and textured details. Yet what happens within this earthy-toned space is much more important.

Intended to uplift, not replace, members' existing fitness, training and healthcare routines, STILLE will provide the kinds of treatments, modalities and technologies once reserved for elite athletes. Beginning with a comprehensive face-to-face assessment with a longevity doctor, a personalised program is gradually constructed for each member, drawing on advanced diagnostics, including DNA analysis, comprehensive blood work and body scans, to deliver clinical insights and tailored recommendations.

One of the founders of STILLE, Cameron Falloon — creator of Body Fit Training and former personal trainer to Princess Diana — says the concept fills a gap in Australia's evolving wellness landscape. "Melbourne has world-class restaurants, hotels and private clubs, yet until now it has not had a dedicated longevity club," he explains. "That's what we're creating with STILLE. It's not a gym, bathhouse or lifestyle club trying to be everything to everyone. It is a private club built around recovery, social wellness and long-term health."

Although the experience is designed to extend far beyond your everyday wellness destination, members will have numerous ways to curate their encounter. Featuring three core pillars, 'Thermal Rituals' encompasses two hot mineral pools, two cold and ice immersion pools, a large-format ritual sauna, a Scandinavian sauna, an infrared sauna, a hammam and guided contrast therapy circuits. Then, 'Recovery and Optimisation' integrates advanced diagnostics and medical-grade wellness technologies, from hyperbaric oxygen therapy to cryotherapy.

Finally, the 'Movement and Regulation' pillar focuses on mobility, mindfulness and nervous system balance, spanning yoga, pilates, meditation, breathwork and guided recovery sessions. What's more, STILLE will also include quiet recovery lounges, co-working spaces and members' social areas, blending all things work, restoration and community. And with elite AFL players like Carlton's Patrick Cripps and Hawthorn's Will Day also founding partners, it's safe to say high-performance is on the agenda.

"This isn't a casual wellness experience," says Cripps. "STILLE delivers a structured, expert-led approach to recovery, performance and longevity within a private environment where people can genuinely switch off. In a world built around constant output, the real advantage is having the space to pause, reset and return with greater clarity."

Also bringing STILLE's concept to life are Karen Golden and Emma McGrady, both highly experienced experts in the world of deep wellness who have played a key role in the shaping the club's overall vision. Now, future members can expect a longevity and performance destination that goes toe-to-toe with the same kind of private clubs taking over New York and London. Just don't expect to drop in for a session — memberships will be limited to 1000 people, and prices start at $150 per week.

STILLE is expected to open in late 2026 at 85 Spring Street, Melbourne. Head to the website for more information.
