Boulangerie l'Epi d'Or has been Monaco's most famous bakery for over 60 years. Three generations of the Pani family produce an array of delicious treats. From the upscale La Condamine district, l'Epi d'Or even supplies the Prince of Monaco with his pastries.

So, what should you feast on? The bakery has sourdough baguettes, frangipane tarts and sweet cakes in abundance. However, get the Monegasque fougasse for a local specialty — a savoury flatbread sprinkled with anise, hazelnuts, almonds and orange blossom.
