50 Years of David Bowie's Hairstyles in One GIF
29 career-spanning portraits of the chameleonic pop star.
To celebrate David Bowie's 68th birthday earlier in the month, London illustrator Helen Green drew the ever-changing hairstyles and faces of the chameleonic pop star and turned them into a single GIF. The 29 career-spanning portraits begin with Bowie in 1964 as Davie Jones, before making there way through his more eccentric stages as Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, Thin White Duke and the Labyrinth character, Jareth.
Green initially rose to prominence after Lady Gaga hired her as a member of her Haus of Gaga creative team.
