Ideas Sought for the Inaugural NZ Day
The inaugural NZ Day is set to take place on Saturday 7 December 2013
The inaugural NZ Day is set to take place on Saturday 7 December 2013, celebrating local communities and existing charitable groups through activities that support, promote, encourage and grow their charitable purposes.
The New Zealand Day Trust are currently seeking people to post ideas on the NZ Day website that benefit the cause and celebrate being a Kiwi. Ideas offered up by the trust to get your brain moving include everything from a beach clean up to building the world's biggest waterside. The events and activities will ultimately be profiled on the NZ Day website, with an interactive map showing events that are happening around the country.
To submit your idea head along to www.nzday.org.nz and complete the sentence “It’s a good day to…”.
For those who would rather let their wallet do the talking, NZ Day are also seeking help through a PledgeMe campaign to support design, website development and promotion costs. Rewards offered include a personal email from the campaign head for $15 to a package including a Mr Vintage tee and honorary mention on the NZ Day website for $500.
