The creative, albeit, slightly controversial campaign from the NZ police features a collection of cleverly designed graffiti pieces placed around Christchurch, and soon to be Auckland and Wellington.

It is comical to see that the very art that Police have been known to crack down on, are now in support, which must be commended for.  Searching google for NZ Police Ad graffiti only brings up a number of news articles of the Police cracking down on the once thought, scum and eye sores of the public.  Now, they are embracing it which is great.

There has been debate from within the Christchurch public that one of the scenes resembles to closely to the February 22 Earthquake. Artist Otis Frizzell uses Policemen that were present on the fateful day in the scene.

Either way, the work cleverly utilises street, online and PR which would offer a unique channel to promote the recruitment of new members for NZ Police.  Well done NZ Police.
