The Full Lineup Joining Fatboy Slim at Gardens Music Festival Just Dropped — Along with a Venue Change
Joining the dance legend in the new central location is a stacked lineup of international and local acts.
Partygoers and festival fans have a lot to look forward to on Auckland Anniversary Weekend: Whangamata beach festival Beach Break has been announced for Saturday, January 28, and of course, the star-studded Laneway lineup is hitting Western Springs on Monday, January 30. On the roster is the inaugural Gardens Music Festival on Sunday, January 29 — also known as Fatboy Slim and Friends, thanks to the dance music legend headlining.
But take note ticketholders — there's been a last-minute venue change. Organisers have scrambled to relocate the event to the Auckland Domain after "irreparable damage" from a previous festival at Victoria Park — you can probably figure out which one.
That means Gardens is now going to take place at Auckland Domain — a move which makes sense. The festival is the brainchild of Endeavour Live, the brains behind the Domain's very successful Spring City Music Festival Back in November.

So, now you know where you'll be going — who'll you be hearing? International acts Joining the 'Praise You' hitmaker at the one-day event include Australian EDM duo Peking Duck, newly announced Coachella act LP GIOBBI, and DJ and producer John Morales. Representing Aotearoa? Dick Johnson and MissB.
It's not the only stop Fatboy Slim will be taking in NZ — he's actually taking on an impressive Australasian tour that includes Anderson Park in Wellington, Gibbston Valley in Queenstown and Riverside Park in Taupo.
Gardens Valley Music Festival will now take place on Sunday, January 29 at the Auckland Domain, following damage to Victoria Park. For more information and to snap up tickets, head to the website.
