Australia's clash-free, one-day summer festival FOMO By Night made its New Zealand debut in January featuring famed American-Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj. The one-stage festival is set to return in 2020, this time under the simplified FOMO heading and at a new outdoor location to make it "much bigger and better," according to organisers.

Texas-via-California rap collective Brockhampton is the first of multiple international acts to be announced for the event at Henderson's Trusts Arena on Wednesday, 15 January. Led by Kevin Abstract, and formed through an online Kayne forum, the modern-day boy band is made up of rappers, directors, photographers, engineers, producers, graphic designers and DJs. The group last performed here in 2018 at Logan Campbell Centre — the show sold out in minutes.

Joining Brockhampton will be Canadian producer Kaytranada, who's set to drop a new album before heading down under, and US rapper Lizzo, who'll be bringing her catchy hits 'Juice' and 'Truth Hurts' — as well as other bangers off her just-released album Cuz I Love You — to NZ for the first ever time in January. Other big names on the lineup include UK rapper Octavian, US singer Rico Nasty and local artist Melodownz.
