Pizza Hut Has Created the World's First Playable DJ Pizza Box
*Inhales hotdog stuffed crust, kicks out the jams*
You know that feeling when you've just inhaled an entire hotdog stuffed crust and want to lift the roof off the joint with some sick beats? Your burgeoning slice-scoffing, disc jockey career is inching closer as another pizza conglomerate attempts to break through the technology market. Forget Domino's $30,000 autonomous pizza delivery robot and Vinnie's pizza box made out of a real life pizza, Pizza Hut has created the world's first playable DJ pizza box.
Created in partnership with printed electronics experts Novalia, the pizza box syncs via bluetooth to your laptop or smartphone and can be used with DJ software like Serato. The battery-powered box then allows you to play your favourite music and tick off some basic DJ techniques: crossfading, volume and pitch control, and half-pie scratch sound effects. See its full potential with DJ Vectra's demonstration below.
Unfortunately, the DJ pizza box will be limited to a select number of stores in the UK. So, in anticipation of it coming down under, we've come up with a list of appropriate DJ names: DJ Cheesey Cheese, DJ Grease Fingers, The Big Pepperoni, Thin 'n' Crispy, Deep Pan Hawaiian, DJ Gluten-Free Pizza Base.
