Overview
Ballet Revolución comes direct from Havana, Cuba. Having wrapped up an extensive tour of Europe and Australia and gaining praise like “an irresistible Cuban cocktail of ferocious sensuality,” the show will stopover in Auckland for a six night run.
The production features eighteen of the world’s finest dancers on stage, most from same training school in Havana, alongside a live band performing rhythms of Latin-America, as well as the hits of Sia, Lorde, Beyoncé, Jessie J, Bruno Mars, J Lo, Prince and Rihanna.
As well as a focus on classical ballet, it combines contemporary street dance, shoulder snaps, body rolls, acrobatics, jazz hands, body popping and everything else you might find in a music video.
