Overview
On Wednesday 17 August, Grey Lynn local Pocket Bar will do the unthinkable and enlist experts to demonstrate the unlikely beverage match of beer and whiskey.
On hand to prove the conundrum will be Calem Chadwick, the brains behind the recent World Class House pop-up cocktail bar, and Lion Nathan Beer Ambassador Kurt Gross. All in the name of education, the pair will match beer from craft breweries Emerson's and Panhead Custom Ales with some of the world's tastiest whiskies, before revealing the wizardry and how they work so damn well together.
For the $25 ticket price attendees will get four beer tastings and four whiskey tastings.
