Overview
QT Wellington's Hippopotamus Restaurant & Cocktail Bar has served up feasts dedicated to burgers, plants and fairytale worlds this year. As we approach the holiday season the venue is throwing a festive high tea with all the trimmings.
For two days only, Hippo will be presenting a selection of sweet and savouries worth pining over, with cheery Christmas treats stacked three tiers high. There'll be roasted turkey pies, honey glazed ham and pineapple sliders, plus wreath macarons and dark chocolate and brandy cherry choux.
The high tea will run at 2pm and 3pm on Saturday 19, and Sunday 20, December. The $49 per person includes a glass of champagne to help you cheers the end of the year.
