Overview

Mark the 28th of May in your Google calendars or moleskin diaries, the 'Let's Get Funky/Funk Fest' edition of the Factory Markets is coming to bring the funk to town. The cult market will consist of a mixture of arts and crafts, designer boutiques, vintage gear, upcycled furniture, an on-site florist, hairdresser and barber.

More specifically, you're looking at trinkets and wares from the likes of Doe Donuts — the makers of maple bacon donuts (cue Homer gurgle), local glasses designer Bailey Nelson, nut-based snack-in-a-jar creators Nutty Co, earthy jewellers Woodland Finds, clothes retailers and designers such as Tosca & Salome, Davy's Locker and Percy's Vintage, winners of the Farro Fresh's People's Choice award of deliciousness for their salted macadamia butter, Forty Thieves, and boutique ceramic makers Claybird Ceramics.

Cash facilities will be available on site, but best to grab a fistful of dollars before you walk out the door.
