Overview

Flamingo Pier is back again for another year. Held on Waiheke Island's landlocked Rangihoua Olive Grove, the one-day, openair festival features all the ingredients for a good time: live acts and DJs on two different stages (one stage is tucked under the forest canopy), neon art installations as well as a couple of first-rate food and drink pop-up stands. Previous Flamingo Piers saw guests chowing down on the likes of Bedford Soda and Bird on a Wire as well as slurping London craft brews and rum from Tom's Rum Shack.

Run by two Kiwis, Tom Seaton and Luke Walker, Flamingo Pier started its existence as a party held on a floating pontoon and canal boat in East London's Hackney Wick. After a successful summer on the water, the boys packed up the sold-out party and brought it back home to Waiheke Island. 2019 will be the festival's fourth anniversary.

The 2019 lineup includes Tim Sweeney, Harvey Sutherland, C.C: Disco!, Lord Echo, Earthboogie, DEA, High Hoops, Julien Dyne, Frank Booker, Flamingo Pier DJs.
