Overview
Left Bank dessert cafe Zelati is going all-vegan for four days next month. The takeover as part of Welly On a Plate will see the gelato cabinet chock-full of delicious plant-based flavours and further menu items, from sundaes to waffles and cookie sandwiches, replaced with dairy and egg-free alternatives.
From October 22 to 25, you'll find plant-based versions of your Zelati favourites — like affogato, purple kūmara, Fix & Fogg peanut butter and pineapple plum, as well as new dairy-free flavours. The full ice cream range will also available to purchase in pints.
Visa Wellington On a Plate is set to return for its 12th year from 1–31 October with more than 100 flavour-packed events, special dining menus, burgers and craft cocktails.
