Overview
Behind the scenes at the EcoMatters Environment Trust community nursery a range of native plants have been nurtured from eco-sourced seed. Now established, the young plants are ready to go into the ground.
This Saturday, 12 September will be your opportunity to add a few more plant babies to your collection and support local nature projects. EcoMatters will be selling plants for $6 each, with a 10 percent discount if you buy 50 or more. Most of the native plants still available are suitable for environmental restoration projects and include the likes of tī kōuka cabbage tree, mānuka, kawakawa and kōwhai.
